Had abit of a intermitent issue with VRS not wanting to start,

I go out to car turn key and most of time it fires first time but odd occasion it just cranks and cranks but after a couple of attempts it starts and all is fine,

Now i know fuel pump runs when drivers door is opened but i carn't say i've noticed if its not running or not, suspect it maybe a sticky fuel pump relay or dodgy regulator altho its fine when running with no fault codes

Just wondered if anybody can think of anything else that needs checking, oh and where is fuel pump relay

Does the interior light and door warning light come on on the dash? Could be the door microswitc has failed. The pump should still run when you turn the ignition on though.

I would suspect a fuel pump relay too. I can't see them being too expensive.

i have the same problem dose any1 knw were the 409 relay is ????
