If you've already got a bottle, put it in, it won't do any harm. If it's still in the shop, I'd keep my money.

Years ago Redex was known as UCL, (Upper Cylinder Lubricant). all petrol garages sold it at a 1p a shot in a dispenser.

The idea was 1 shot to a gallon of fuel, it was next to useless.
