Fitting front and back tweeters in a VRS...

Featured Replies

Hi all,

have already asked this before in another post regarding front and back speakers...

I have purchased an active sub, headunit and both front and back components speakers. So far the headunit, sub and speakers have been fitted leaving the tweeters out for the time being. I now would like to proceed on fitting the tweeters and the only reason why they wernt fitted in the first place was due to them being bigger than the OEM ones resulting in the housing that hold the OEM ones in place being too small and not enough time to fiddle around...

Could you all share your thoughts and experience please on the best way to fit these... So far the system is sounding great however the tweeters really need to be changed as the OEM ones can't keep up...

Many Thanks,

Daniel

Take the OE's out, Trim the housings to accommodate the new tweets and use hot glue to hold them secure. Pikey as you like, But it works!

If your tweets come in a housing take them out, And only fit the fronts, The rears will ruin the sound!
