Thought since i have been on this site for a while having a look and getting my Skada 2 weekends ago i may aswell post up a project thread.

I am very happy with the buy, part of me misses my Alfa Mito 1.4t 120 great looking car and not alot in dundee, although going to the skoda is a good choice and i am happy with the decision the drive is so much better and comfier and just driving it you know it is quality built.

Now onto the Skoda couple of pictures from when i first got her on the sunday:

Then during that week i got the windows tinted, took the octavia badge off the rear and fitted a leon cupra splitter (images dont show the splitter very well i will need to get a better one for you all) also de-tangoed the indicator bulbs:

Then the grille got removed and sprayed black the badge has been left off as waiting on my new skoda badges coming the black and silver ones should be arriving this week but for now this is what it looks like:

Also waiting on wind deflectors which should be coming this week hopefully. the car is fully led'd although jus need to sort the problem with the number plate led's and bulb warning see if i can do that this week :yes:

Yeah couldnt agree more diesel is great choice atm although i do still love the petrol engines haha,

Right badges came in today so back from work and first thing i do is get them fitted of course:

I think it makes the car look so much better i suppose it will also help due to the car being black the badges look even better but nice little extra now jus waiting on the wind deflectors, now what next..... :think:

Very nice, looks very stealthy with the black grill and badges. Will keep a look out for you in Dundee. Have you been to the new Skoda dealer there yet? Did you get the new style badges from them or was it elsewhere?

Cheers rascal have you got a skoda yourself? so i can look out for you also yeah i have been in there quite alot, just so happens my dad is the manager so very handy me owning a Skoda however without being biased they are great bunch of guys and give briskoda forum members discount

I have a Fabia at the moment but have ordered a Candy White Citigo Elegance which should arrive pretty soon. Lucky sod with your dad being the manager at Skoda. Cheap parts ???? Have been in to Dundee and they are a good bunch. Seem to be right into their cars. Saw the managers office has model rally cars and framed signed prints of the Skoda IRC car. Nice guys.
