RIP Felicia

Featured Replies

Hi Guys,

After 12 years service it looks like my faithful old diesel felicia estate is about to be written off following a very clumsy attempted theft which has caused significant damage.

Anyone got any ideas on what might be a realistic market value for a 1998 1.9DGLi estate in good order, MOT Nov, 138000 miles with full service history and a new cambelt 3 months ago. I'm having trouble finding similar models of the same age to compare with, most of the estates currently advertised for sale are petrol and a couple of years younger.

I'm just trying to prepare myself for the inevitable negotiations with the insurance company.

Regards,

Andy

I sold my Mum's one for £695, it had 93k on it, 1998, had leather seats and alloys from an L&K. Depends where you look, but £6-800 is about right, I reckon, obviously there are some cheap ****ters about as well as overpriced forecourt stuff too.

What's the damage? Is it really beyond help?
