Front strut brace

Featured Replies

Hi guys im looking for a strut brace wheres best to buy from ? And is there different models

Part Number: 6L0 071 710 from any Seat dealer or Trade Part Specialist

Made from steel and comes in red. About 60 Pounds last time i checked (Sorry this stupid keyboard doesnt have a pound sign)

Forge front Strut brace - Available from Forge or other places like DPM Performance

Made from lightweight alloy and comes in a polished finish and costs around 70 pounds

Personally id spend a bit extra and get a Whiteline Rear ARB

from what ive read the forge uses all of the screws on the top mount, whereas the seat one uses less i think!

Seat one is easier/quicker to install

im sure someone will confirm!

I wanna get both

Hopefully you mean both front and rear rather than both SEAT and Forge front ones! :D

Seat one just slots under the strut bolts - i think the Forge one does too but uses more bolts as biggy says

The rear one just bolts into the rear suspension and is clamped around the rear beam

no "relocation" of anything is needed

HTH

I have the forge front strut brace, looking at changing to the seat one! The forge one uses all the bolts but is a pain to get on and off, It looks great but for me is a pain for when I had to change the air filter and I find it just usually gets in the way, plus when you need to undo the bolts to take it off the strut drops, not a problem with the seat one I assume, and also I found fitting it was a pain as tools were hard to get to the bolts

I cant find any sellers or prices at all :/

SEAT sport strut brace is from any seat main dealer or TPS. Forge items from forge or one of their resellers and the whitelines RARB from DPM, Awesome GTI or eBay!
