Cable Ties for Hose Clips (N75)

Featured Replies

I have a new N75 which I am desperate to fit today, but my hose clip supplier has let me down and the hose clips aren't due for another 2 days. :(

Is it at all conceivable to temporarily keep the hoses onto the N75 valve with cable ties? ..... (just temporarily for 2 days), or is this the stupidest idea since Andy the Ant tried Abseiling off the Andes ?

Cheers.

Spent the most frustrating day today ............ not because anything wrong has happened with the car, but because my wife made 'last minute' arrangements to take the kids out for the full day in the car! She left at 10:30 and has only just got back (6:20pm!).

Food, then N75 replacement! ...... watch this space :)
