Fog Lights

Featured Replies

Just wondering if anyone could help here.

Thinking about fitting front fogs to my octavia 2 but the dealer says that no kit avalable for retro fit. Has anyone tried this by ordering the parts and if so what would I need. As switch is already fitted I presume that the loom has a connector to take front fogs. Would it be a case of removing the ends of under grill and just replacing with the fog lights or would extra mountings be required. Just a shame they are not fitted as standard like the mark 1.

No idea how easy it is to fit, but it's not really worth the bother. The foglights are awful, pose value only.

Yellow is as legal as clear. i.e. only in visibility of less than 100yards.

Unless you own a BMW or a Saxo in which case the law reads : "only in visibility of more than 100 yards".

HTH

And that's exactly why foglights on modern cars are so crap, the function has been designed out of them because of ****s who drive round with them on the whole time.
