Was thinking about putting wheel spacers on my vrs when i lower it. I was thinking 20mm on the rear and 5mm on the front.

What do you think, good idea or bad ?

i got 20mm on the rear, extra -1 deg of Camber, 205 on a 8.j wheel and slammage and its fine. If your lowered quite a bit, you will need the supporting mods or it will rub its tits off.

I'm fitting 5mm's on my front tomorrow as once I lowered mine on coilovers the inside of my tyre is touching the adjuster on the strut due to the offset of my wheels. I'll post up some pics tomorrow once done.

my car looks like a po po car slammed on the standard rims.. I have the Eibach Camber shims there good mate.. i shimmed it before i slammed it. this mine on standards.. (reparing dented arch with roller)

Fitted my 5mm fronts today. Unfortunately I forgot to take any before pics but it will give you an idea of how they look with 5mm on the front. My wheels are 8.0jj and offset ET35.They have given me the space I needed to take the tire away from the adjuster so I'm happy.

I was thinking about a -1.0 degree shim aswell. Only got standard vrs alloys on it so hopefully won't get any rubbing.

Only lowering it 35mm all round on springs for now.

I have a set of H&R Hubcentrics 10mm each side on the front and 15mm each side on the back with the standard 17" Spiders.

I also have absolutely no rubbing unless I have a full car and go over a lump in the road at speed!

After fitting the spacers along with the coilovers the car feels a lot more planted to the road espically when cornering.
