Hi, I have Skoda Superb 2004, 2,8l v6 petrol. The power steering oil i low. With what type of oil can I top up ?

or is it better to drain the tank and replace as much as possible ?

VAG specific oil goes here: go to GSF, they have the correct one.

Steady, its a long way from Dubai to the nearest GSF.

To the OP the fluid that any VAG with mechanical hydraulic power steering should be okay. Maybe you shoul dcheck where the fluid is going, hopefully at one of the flexi pipes clamps will be the problem.

oops, I missed the location bit!!!

Why is the oil low?

Because they fill it low at factory, and Superb has quite high hydraulic pressure and there is some migration at the seals.

My Superb used about 20ml-50ml in 6 years, not much, but it came from factory with fluid at bottom level when warmed up.
