yeti spec

Featured Replies

Picked up my new yeti 140 elegance today, got home to play with all the bells and whistles and

surprise ,surprise it has the same bolero system as my old octavia. I assumed was getting the

amundsen sat nav system. Are skoda secretly downgrading or is this a wrong build? Advice please

before I bend the dealers ear tomorrow. Tried their se plus in March with the sat nav. Probably better off

with a £100 tomtom anyway.

The Škoda UK website shows the Elegance with Bolero as standard.

I collected my Elegance 170 this evening and that has the Bolero, as expected. It's a far cry from the unit in my old '03 Octavia & sounds much better. I thought the Amundsen was only available on the SE Plus (as standard), with the Elegance having the Columbus unit as an option, or as standard on the Urban (with DAB).

Hands on, at last! Please let us know how you get on?

Bolero in the norm as stated by others, however a few Elegance and SE's were delivered with the Amundsen last year following a shortage of the Bolero. Would have prefered the sat nav myself as the radio/6 CD spends most of its time collecting dust unused.

Thanks for the clarification guys, I'll get back to the tomtom.

Yes my SE has the Amundsen, due to shortage of the Bolero. Its a great system and the sat nav (so far) is quite good, though a bit slow to react to the position of the car. It is certainly much better than the £3000+ COMAND in my Merc, but maybe not as good as my old TomTom! I dont have the 6 CD changer - unfortunately.
