L & K - Mp3? /Number of speakers

Featured Replies

I am hoping someone more knowledgeable could help me with a couple of questions:

As far as I know, the Octy II L & K is shipped with the Nexus Navigation systems as the only option (at least in Norway).

Which speaker configuration is in the L&K (8 or 12) ?

Is the Nexus capable of playing MP3 files (like the Audience system)?

Do any of you guys have experience connecting Hard-drive based MP3 system like Phatnoise (www.phatnoise.com) to any of the radio systems shipped with Octavia?

regards.

Hello iluvatar and welcome :)

As far as I know the Nexus is supplied with the 8 speaker configuration. Unfortunately it cannot play MP3 files.

Sorry I can't help you with auxillary connections with the Nexus, although it should be possible with the Stream and Audience systems.

Hope this helps :)

Hi, I have a similar question:

I just bought a skoda octavia w Nexus navigation and CD changer.

I want to connect an iPod to the system (should be possible, since the system has an option for AUX audio or audio/video input).

Skoda are very reluctant to give out any technical specification on their components. as far as i can figure out, the nexus is produced by blaupunkt (eg it is a travelpiolot in disguise) - that also explains why it is not compatible with the climatronic and the parking sensor.

Also blaupunkt is not wery helpfull, and i find nothing on the net.

I would like to know if any one here can help me with the wireing of an ipod to the unit (not disconecting the cd changer that is)?

Skoda have released an ipod interface, however it does replace the cd changer, but you can control your ipod through the head unit, so it shouldn't matter that there is no cd changer. Its about
