Is my windscreen starting to delaminate?

Featured Replies

Hey guys,

I've never had one delaminate before, so don't know if this is right, but just wondering if this was my screen starting to delaminate?

It's the bottom edge of the windscreen.

YES,,,!,

Used to be a know problem on Octavias and kinda looks the same. I had mine replaced under warranty

If it's milky and white and in between the glass layers, then probably.

If it's on the surface, then probably not.

A good clean will show you either way :)

Yeah, that delamination. Still a known issue even on the latest Octavia's.

It doesn't ever seem to extend much further than where it is already on your screen.

I have it on both my Octavia's, to me it's not worth the hassle / potential side effects of a new screen.

It is to me, as there are loads of chips higher up on the windscreen :D
