Octavia vRS Mk1 Car Mats Badges

Featured Replies

Good idea  , i'll be interested to see it fitted. The logo does look a pretty good match.

Received badges this morning. Not really sure about these. Total cost £8.

Comments mucho appreciated before I fit them.

First, this is what you get:

This is my Drivers mat with the badge next to existing worn out stitched VRS badge.

And laying badge in position.

As in first posting. Might be worth a go with standard octavia mk1 mats or aftermarket? (which are cheaper and easier to get than the Vrs ones)

Fitting is making two holes per mat and fit badge.

Well if it was my car they would be fitted by now lol  .

Seriously tho', they look as good as oem if not better. I think you would need to park 2 vrs's side by side to see the difference.

The only concern i'd have, is those pegs on the back (for retaining), if they are plastic, there is a very very small risk of them snapping as a result of a careless foot.

Recessing them in the carpet as per your last pic would solve that potential problem.

A good find
