You need coilovers to get that low.

yeah you would need coilovers as rob_e mentioned , i have H&r 35mm ones which drop the vrs around 20mm which is about right but seems the FL seems to drop more on these springs , but good for everyday use.

on the estate what size wheels are fitted and how much is the coilover set to? looking at octavia front struts with 55mm dia problem is im in german and the srings iv been looking at say its 49.8 which i think means what dia the end of the spring is ? would it sit on the shockers? i think the safer bet is coilovers as i can get a set over here for 180 euros

do you mean my estate? if so, its running 18"s - there are pics on the blog with the OE wheels and my winter rims, both 7.5x18 et51. there are pics on the blog of the car in various configurations - stock, -15 on eibachs, -45 on weitec coilovers (when they were first fitted) and -35 on weitecs as it sits now which is in my view the best compromise for handling, looks, ride, clearance.

cheap coilovers will be a waste of money imo - get a quality make or don't bother. 02p etc.

any 1 know once lowered how to change adj set up the tie rod to the shocker from the anti roll bar iv got new adj 1s?

Mine, dropped somewhere around 35mm from standard. I have a small amount of adjustment left in my B14s (which in reality is a pair of front coilovers and a pair of B8s with spring adjustors.

looking at a 45mm drop from stanard octavia so on my vrs looking at 30mm drop hopefully it look good did you have any dramas with the tie rod between the anti roll bar and the damper? iv just bought a adjustable 1 just not sure how to set it up how short do u make it?
