going to have Cambelt and water pump done next month.

Does anyone recomend a coolant?

Yup genuine G12 from VAG

any brand G12 (pink) or G12+ (purple)

2 litres + water

5.5l coolant in total.

If you add 2L of coolant and 3.5L of water you'll get a mixture with a freezing point of ~ -15-17deg C ,and that's poor

You must use at least 2.5L of coolant and 3L of water.

The new stuff is g12++

ok,so G12++ not G12+....I made a huge mistake :cocktail:

just drain, flush well, then refill with 2 bottles of G12++ (thats 3l in total) then top up with water - easy peasy

ops my bad forgot each bottle was 1.5 litres and not 1 litre
