Just using the NOS on the main straight - maybe a bit of a squirt elsewhere may shave some more off...but I'm watching some real drivers now - and Schuey is 16th on the grid

Managed a 1:54.998 in my secret weapon last night - still no NOS.

511 BHP FWD - that certainly makes the traction control earn it's keep.

how do you use the NOS?

Right shoulder button (R1) - you set how much boost you want in the set-up menu but it's a trade off with how long the gas lasts.

After you've added it to your car it shows as a red gauge on the display. It can boost up to 100BHP depending on the car.

I think you've got me there Simon. The lap I posted is my fastest and i dont think the car is good for much more, although i wasnt using Nos.

But anyway, i have been racking my brains and can't think of a FWD car capable of 500bhp!

[Fanfare] The winning car is...American...Front wheel drive (really)...it's the Dodge SRT 4 tuned to 511 BHP with NOS giving up to an extra 70 BHP.

The screen shot is my first flying lap with the NOS although previously I managed a 1:54.998 without it. The car is ace, it even handles nicely.

Any lap - we've been using the Free run feature where you start about 2/3 way round the circuit and can complete as many laps as fuel allows.

Spec, err everything you can throw at it.

396 bhp and they key is getting the gear ratio's right, long straight means you can hold 180 mph for a while which means the lap time is a fair bit quicker.

I tuned up the focus RS last night and couldnt even get my old best lap time :(

TBH i didnt enjoy driving it at all! So much torque that it span the wheels in the first 4 gears and quite odd cornering....much prefer the way the integra drives.

If you dont mind sharing your secrets I for one would be interested to know what suspension set up you are running!

If noone can beat it by friday afternoon maybe the winner can set a new challenge.... new track, 4x4 anyone

going to attempt too but unless I'm being really thick (which is very possible) I only have access to the short track (west section) and not the full track. I'll look again tonight but I'll doubt if I'll beat any of the times posted here
