I'm off to Jodrell Bank Live at the weekend and was wondering as I will be parking in a field,would it be worth sticking the winter wheels back on to help if it was muddy?

I would imagine so due to the more agressive and usually deeper tread. Also the sipes will probably act in a similar manner on mud as it would on snow, grabbing what they can giving you extra friction. Has to be better than summer tyres, lets put it that way!

I would expect them to be better as well, but I'm going for a set of snow chains and leaving the winters at home.
