Found a PS2 is the loft, boxed - are they worth anything secondhand?

Got about 20 games too - all racing/driving.

Thoughts?

I'd say so, I missed out on one that was on freecycle the other week, if I'd have got it I would have thought all my ships had come home

best is to look on Ebay and see what the going rate it. i must say that the couple of car boot ive been to recently they were two a penny. Dont think its quite going to clear your mortgage just yet!

Just seems a shame to let it all go for such a low value.

Have still got a ZX Spectrum and two Amiga 500's in the loft somewhere. A fortune in their day, and bleeding-edge technology too (the Amiga OS at the time could multi-task with 512k and no HDD), and it feels a shame to part with such kit for a fraction of what it was worth, but such is the way of the world :( :(

Might just do that, really not worth the hassle of trying to sell I feel. Thanks for the advice guys

If you can get hold of a 'new' one still sealed and boxed. Might be worth a bob sooner.

Take it to CEX or Game and get them to value up the trade in.

Won't be much but may get a coupel of games out of it or of course you could always say no and walk away.

I remember trading in a Sega Megadrive and all my games at a game station and making £120 a few years back.

My PS2 and all my games controllers, steering wheel, light guns sold for shed loads on eBay too.

I'll take the PS2 off yor hands if you have Time Crisis and the light guns
