Featured Replies

im looking at getting some cheapish alloys.

few questions,

currently have 13'' steelys on, what differance will putting 14" on, as in speedo readings and handling.

secondly, has anyone got any in a good condition ones knocking about they would be willing to sell. tyres or none, im easy. =)

thanks in advanced.

Re: the difference.

I put 14s on mine and I haven't noticed any significant changes. The speedo is pretty much dead on the actual speed +-2mph.

On the front; I had to put 7mm spacers + longer radius seat bolts as the steering arms rubbed on full lock.

is it basically, as long as the filament is 4x100, will they fit, maybe needing spacers and nuts?

You need wheels which are 4x100, offset of 38 or there abouts and a centre bore of 57.1 or bigger but if the bore is bigger you will need spigot rings.

The tyre size on the 14" felicia alloys are 185/60/14

I seem to vaguely recall someone mentioning the wheels from a BMW Mini should fit, with a very slight (1mm) widening of the centre bore..

ive got a set of mini cooper super charged wheels with 2 new tyres (need putting on rims) & two usable tyres,, 17 inch,,£250,, essex area,,

I've got a set of 5 alloys from my favorit, two great tires and two still good condition tires and the spare needs replacing, all alloys in good condition some minor curbing, direct fitment to the felly, £120 norwich area.
