and I've been told that Duraglit softens the paint and the plastic can be pursuaded back into place without any obvious signs. Didn't belive it myself and not willing to try unless others know different ?

Duraglit is for polishing metal.

Defo wouldn't use that.

Duraglit is for polishing metal.

And abrasive so probably not a good idea for your paint.

Chip and Dent man is probably your best option.
