Engine management light

Featured Replies

Well the hub change didn't go so well. The hubs we bought are too big for the discs. Ah well off to the garage there then.

We have the engine management light coming on now. No loss in power or anything though. The garage we did use said that it was for Cat 2? Is that just a Lambda sensor? Or is it likely to mean a new Catalytic converter? The engine did have a new gasket fitted as it was down on compression in cylinder 1 not long ago and the light has been on since then. The garage said its probably because the Cat needs flushing through. But we did the steady 70 odd miles an hour down the motorway and its not cleared it. Takes longer to come on though.

Any ideas?
