Best suspension setup

Featured Replies

Hi, I have just got a new set of wheels for my 1.6 Octavia, There 17s and I just got 215 45 goodyear eagle F1`s put on them. The grip is WAY better with the new tyres, but there is still a lot of body roll. What would be the best solution to sort it out? I was going to buy lowering springs to improve the centre of gravity but im kinda confused as to what to do. .

Also I want to upgrade the brakes. I was looking at drilled and grooved discs with green stuff ceramic pads for the front, would that be enough to improve the stopping power? There are drums on the back so i dont think I can do much with them. Also, I would like to upgrade the brake lines, and use a better brake fluid, there is dot4 in it at the moment.

One more thing, I cant find an induction kit for the car, its a 1.6 8v(i think). Any ideas?

Cheers.

I'm always patrial to an uprated anti-roll bar rather than lowering alone.

Try an uprated rear anti roll bar first. See awesome gti for the neuspeed ones (if they fit the 1.6) Thats what i would do for starters.
