A very very good idea , I had one in my Range Rover and had to use it when the starter motor caught

fire outside my house. It was a powder one, made a hell of a mess but saved the car / house.

i was able to put it out before it spread to the harness and fuel lines phew!!!.

Modern engines seem to be prone to melt when the engine bay lights up.

Plus it can of course save lives / serious burns.

had a powder one go off in the boot (the valve bursted) whilst driving. heard a loud "fssssssss". you don't wanna know the consequences...

It looks like the ones Lidl were selling. They work well and should be in car rather than the boot.
