Hi. My names Malcolm and I'm having problems with a Skoda 1.6 automatic. Whenever the engine gets warm it over revs when slowing down. As you are braking to a stop the engine picks up to about 1300 rpm and its the same as braking with the gas on. It stays at 1300 till you lift off the brake , then it drops to normal. It's an intermittent problem and the garage is baffled as it never does it when I take it. Has anyone ever come across this problem?

check for vacuum hose leaks, likely this will cause it. Or it will be a bad servo.
