Here for sale is a pipewerx decat downpipe this cost me £350 around 8 months ago from pipewerx.

Its for a Skoda Octavia VRS 2.0 TFSI but may fit others.

This is a direct replacement for the standard catalytic convertor that is fitted to the car from the factory.

When fitted they give a good increase in performance and can be fitted to a standard or performance exhaust system.

This product has been designed and developed by Pipe Werx using the highest quality materials. Each one is hand made in house using the jig we developed ensuring a quality and fit that is second to none unlike a lot of other mass produced exhaust components.

Does this bring any cell lights on the dash if fitted to a standard car and will it drive ok or does the car need a remap once fitted ?

You will get a cel light when fitted however this will only cause issues when mot is due. Exhaust won't cause any issues but to make the most from it and remove the engine light then you will need a remap.

Any chance this could be easily mated to a Milltek cat-back system?

What size is the miltek? I think it wouldn't take a exhaust company more than 20mins to get this to mate to miltek

Also loads of Chinese 3" pipes going for £60 to &140 on eBay at the moment

hence im asking for £50-60 less than it would cost brand new. Also when i bought it it was over £300. And for those chinese downpipes you have to modify them for size and to reduce from 3" to 2.25". The pipewerx is a direct fit with no mods needed.

The quality of the pipewerx compaed to those chinese versions is like day and night the thickness of pipe, the thickness and quality of flexy.

I think the Milltek is 2.75

You would probably need to buy a reducer adapter like miltek sell. Will reduce from 2.75" to 2.25"
