hi i was wondering if someone could help? im just about to purchase the silver interior part from super skoda however i have brushed steel door handles, ashtray and gear surround but they only have alu look radio surround? is that whats its like in the facelift octavia or is there a brushed steel surround? cheers

cheers the only reason i ask is that i can get alu ashtray but only brushed steel gear surroung so would rather match them up than have the gear surround look different

well i was thinking that but was just doing it on a wim tonight so wouldnt know the prices that they charge but i would pay £125 including delivery dont know if thats dear or not

My FL has the brushed alu one only the 2012's have the black I though in the VRS's that is the 2012 the carbon look thing? Centre console surround to go on my 2011 FL with Columbus upgrade was €89 in dealers and I think it was cheaper in UK dealers. Normal silver one is like £9 ffs!

I think it will depend on the radio in car too but most of the surround part numbers are in the useful parts thread if you sift threw it.

I have never used Super Skoda but from feedback from members on here who have they seem to take a long time and have poor customer service if things go wrong quality of the exact same parts has been reported to vary between different customers too. Personally if it was £125 from SS and £150 from main dealers I know where id go for the speed and convenience.

Well I got the ashtray and gear surround from the dealers for £53 so it was cheaper thanks for the heads up

I'm looking to replace the passenger door handle (the grab handle on the door card interior) and the electric mirror switches surround on the drivers door. I've seen the stainless and carbon effect ones you've bought, but I really want a straight swap like for like.

When you replaced yours, did you keep the original parts, and if so can you post the part numbers? I'm struggling to find replacements in black.
