Hi all, my car was fine, stopped the engine to do some shopping, came back out and started the car and traction light and abs light was on, so i drove home, switched it off and back on and the engine management light came on now, switched off and back on and now its just engine light and it wont go off. The car is driving fine. Only thing different is that 30 miles ago i added some liqui moly diesel purge to the fuel as a cleaner. Any ideas anybody?

Quite possible that the two are linked. I would suggest that you get the error codes read and keep topping up with fuel to dilute the additive in the tank.

how did you find out that was the cause? Did it bring up a code to put the map sensor at fault? cheers

Update............... This fault has been traced to a faulty abs sensor on the front right incase anyone gets the same problem.
