Hi im new to this site.Ive just brought a skoda octavia 1999 1.6 glx.The clocks dont work except the time clock.Ive taken the fuse out that relate to the clocks.Started the engine and they still dont work can any body help me many thanks.

If you mean none of the other dials are working, then the instrument panels do fail. Look on the web. I used bba-reman.com for my Octavia many years back, although it was £186 to fix, it was a lot better than a Skoda dealers solution. You have to send them the panel & they looked at it then for about £30-35, if they can fix it the contact you for the go-ahead & then it's back in 2-3 days. Do some forum research for similar problems first. A basic thing to check are connections & in particular earthing connections.
