Good news & bad news.

Took the vRS on its first roadtrip and found out its got auto wipers which was nice. Then when we got to a bit of the a46 that was gusting with wind we got a bad howling sound like we've got roof bars fitted. Have some of the aerodynamic's changed during the facelift? The old one didn't do it.

You sure it wasn't tyre noise. I have Goodyear eagle f1 and although there amazing tyres they seem to be very noisy once up to speeds above 50mph

S4INT this thread might be of use, worked a treat for me

Yep ^ this would be my first call.

However I do think there have been some minor alterations to window seals, aerodynamics etc post FL. On my old Octy driving in the rain, wipers cleared the window perfectly and I was able to see out of my drivers door mirror. My FL Octy, wipers clear the window, but the run off on the drivers side is exactly where you look through the drivers window to use the mirror, and it renders the mirror unuseable!

Drove back up north today and didn't hang around in the wind and rain & the howling sound didn't happen once?
