Key Fob Flip Broken

Featured Replies

Just went to flip it back in after parking up and it didn't click back into position. It doesn't go back smoothly and looks at a wierd angle. Don't think I've done anything to it. It was fine 6pm yesterday when I got home and fine when I got in the car this morning. Keys hung up and safe from anything. Is this something I can get fixed under warranty? Having service in 2 weeks. Car still starts and open with it.

Yes, the dealer should sort that out under warranty.

Only I hold the key. No one else. Hasn't been dropped. When I rung to book service they said they'd take a look and even if they say I have to pay for it it's not like I'd need a whole new key. The chip inside would be swapped to the new key housing and maybe a new blade and mechanism would be needed too. The key starts the car fine but switched to other fob just in case
