Problems with door sensor

Hi all, just driven back home tonight and the fabia has developed a fault where the passenger door is showing as being open even when being closed. I know the wiring will probably need checking out, but in the interim is there a way of disabling the alarm when locking the car so that it does not trigger, and prevent the rear inside lights coming on?

Any help much appreciated.
