Do the mk2 octavia mirrors fit ours?

No they don't fit straight on but can be made to fit if your willing to do the work,I adapted some to fit mine but physically they are very different but i had to drill new fittings into the mirror and use fibreglass and filler to shape the base and the wiring isn't a plug and play either unfortunately,here's a couple of pics of mine

The wires for the movement and heating element side are present in the existing mirror loom,I ran an extra wire through the door grommets into the footwells to pick up the indicators and I just connected the puddle lights through a relay triggered by the switch wire off the door open light

Yes,the mirror bases are a completely different shape and in order to fill the void of the standard mirror you will need to extend the mirror base with fibreglass and filler and also the existing mountings won't fit and you will need to make your own,there's quite a lot of work but if your willing to put in the effort I think it's worth it as there a better looking mirror
