2000plate fabia 1.4 .. looking to lower it .. 35 maybe 40mm ? springs?? any advice / pictures much appriacted ! thankyou

i just did springs, cheap, not recommended, its a gamble on old stock shocks, my gamble paid off. 35mm lowering springs £65 to the door for all corners.

might be better on the lighter fabia

Wouldn't bother, unless you go the whole hog and get coilovers. Just using springs can kill the standard shocks quicker. You should also get the wheel alignment checked/adjusted after changing any suspension components.

Personally I think there are better ways to spend that kind of money.
