I know that Courtney Motorsport do a modded throttle body for Vauxhalls which give a good power improvement (it is bored out & a bigger butterfly is fitted so that intake volume is increased quite considerably, or so I have been lead to belive). Why can't I find a similar mod for the 2.0 tsi from VAG tuners ????????????? :think:

I guess the key question is whether the stock TB flows enough air. If it does, it's a pointless exercise. Same for different intercoolers and airboxes.

I'd had larger TB's both on my Volvo and on k series Elise's - it sharpened throttle response but it made little difference to power, maybe a horse power or two.

On the other hand, I've had an air induction system that's made 10bhp extra (dyno verified) on a 2.0l engine over and above another high flowing and well respected air induction system (Hurricane).

Damn, I was looking for 3-400 mor bhp
