Found my rack had atf in it because when i did clutch we had to remove a pipe for space, the guy helping me said he had correct stuff and filled after while i was tidying up. Tha jackass put atf in as i discovered last night.

Done a change got 750ml out so was quite happy, steering working well, light and smooth. Just a wee moan under duress, wondering how long this takes to clear?????? - i understand its a bit of air still in there.

Id run the car for a bit & change the PAS fluid again to try & flush out the atf,after that it should be fine.Hopefully the atf hasnt damaged any seals in the PAS sytem.

cheers mate im gonna head back and buy another to flush it. it was in for 3 weeks and the weather was warm so hopefully it remained lean enough.
