Possible engine mounts?

Only noticed the other day that my engine wobbles more than I think it should on idle, and once I turn it off I makes a horrible judder.

Could this be engine mounts? Any particular one?

Most like the be the rear engine/gearbox/dog-bone mount as this controls front/back wobble.

What engine you got? Is it a BLT?

Do powerflex or likewise do an upgraded version?

At that year I would expect it to be a BLT and not an ASZ.

I only ask as these have an anti-shudder valve that closes when you turn the engine off. If this is faulty then you will get a lot of shake when shutting the engine off.

Well I have noticed it since removing my EGR Valve? But it's been shaking for a short while?

Well there we have it then.

If yours is indeed an ASZ then this engine incorporates the anti shudder valve into the EGR so removing the EGR removes the anti shudder valve.

At the moment i can only say it should do. Same engine. Same subframe.
