Hello all, first time poster needing a bit of advice.

Having spent the last week looking for lost key I'm looking to buy a cut key without the immobilizer code on.

Spoke to a locksmiths who said the key can be cut from a 4 digit code starting 4AB - 0001 to 2780.

I can't see this code on the vehicle data page of Service Schedule, or in Owners Manual - anyone got any ideas where the magic number is?

hi there i had the same problem when i swaped engines over in my car the code comes with car from new and gets lost your best bet is to get a ecu and immobliser + chip + Locks that match from a scrappy if you get stuck i mite be able to help

I -think- that the key code is on a tag which is under the right-hand-side front wing. I'm not 100% on that, but I seem to recall seeing a barcoded sticker there on one of the many fels I have owned.... Jim (felicia16v) is probably the man to ask, he knows all.

thats the paint code there i am going to be breaking a 1.3mpi this week
