L&K Specs

Featured Replies

Does anyone know the difference between the Elegance and L&K spec Octavia Estate? Is the leather interior (seats) the same on the L&K as on the Elegance with leather upgrade?

I am trying to decide between the Elegance with leather or the L&K. 2.0 TDI Estate with DSG.

Can't seem to find any specs for the L&K on the web anywhere - or on any Skoda web site. Anyone seen any Specs?

Thanks

While the prices are not on the site ATM, they are roughly

Hi Expatman,

Not alot in it price wise, if you spec an elegance with leather, multifunction steering wheel and maxi dot it works out around

If you go on this site

you can add all your options to get the full price' date=' I think the leather seats come with electric memory on the L&K[/quote']

I've ordered an L&K model but no one seems to be able to tell me if the "electric memory seats" have one or two settings? My current car in the USA has the seat and door mirror settings controlled by the key used to unlock the doors. So if my wife uses the car and unlocks the doors with her remote opening key all the seats and mirrors move to the settings she set with her key; when I next use the car and unlock the doors with my remote key then the seats and mirrors move to the settings made with my key. It is a great system when 2 people regularly use the same car. I hope the Skoda system is like that (otherwise why have a memory system?) but would welcome confirmation from anyone in the know!

Thanks

I'm pretty sure that Skoda has this system too. Otherwise, why would it need a memory, heh ? You can be sure that it has it. I don't know if the change is made through key recognition or not, but the system is there 100%, so don't worry.

Expat,

From what I remember "electric memory seats" have 3 memory sets, 2 of them can be assigned to individual remote controls and should adjust both seat and external mirrors when remote control is used to open the car. I read it once in some brochure or something.

Tried to order an L&K 2.0TDI today and there won't be any built untill week 29 which means a September delivery :thumbdwn:

That's okay for me - luckily I don't need the car until November! What did you decide to get instead?

My Superb has the seat and mirror 2 key memory setup operation you describe above, in addition the passenger mirror also adjusts to a defined memory setting when reverse is selected.

Here's the proof that Octy 2 has memory seats :)

Not sure what to do for the moment, dealer is looking into if it's the 2.0 TDI or the fact that it's an L&K that's holding it up. If it's the L&K spec that's holding it up then I might order an Elegance with leather. As were changing because we tow a caravan I might look at a 4x4 Octy 1.9 TDI and let JBS loose on it to free up a few extra horses if the the 2.0 TDI is the hold up

I think you're looking at long waits for anything that has to come from the factory. If you go for a bog standard car with no options, there might be one already in the country and you can get it quicker. However, as soon as you start ticking the option boxes it's a factory order and you might as well settle down for a long wait. When I spoke to my dealer in March, he told me that people ordering then wouldn't see cars before September. Definitely worth the wait though
