I think that sits really nice as is, raising the front would give you a reverse rake, which will upset the handling, surely?

On a similar note I had the fortune to be talking to a guy on Friday who has a pearlescent white Phase 1 R5 GTT amongst his collection, just like the one I had years ago, chatting to him about it brought back some great memories.

Thanks for the positive comments folks. I was bracing myself for a barrage of 'French crap' etc, but it hasn't happened....yet. I know it's probably going to cause me much heartache and cost a lot to keep alive, but it's the first car in ages that has made me smile without even driving it!

I'm on with trying to source a bonnet and some wheels, but the sound of the exhaust is quite addictive. I reckon I'll leave it for now.

I dont think "french crap" applies when its a classic... the "rallye" set was a focused car... like an elise is... no comforts, just drivivng pleasure

what about the citroen SM with the masarati engine? I'd have one of those the old 5 GT turbo....
