I have a black Octavia and always use snow foam first,followed by the 2 bucket method with a wash mitt,was recommended on detailing world,use duragloss shampoo,dry car with one of soft drying towels,almost covers the whole bonnet and I still get the odd swirl mark,sometimes doesn't matter how careful you are.
