VW stubby ariel

Featured Replies

Genuine VW ariel which was purchased to go on my Fabia.

Decided against fitting it so it's up for sale for the same price I paid from a VW dealer.

Will fit fabia's/octavias etc just need to cut 3mm off the bottom to expose more thread.

Will get part number and a picture later on.

How much buddy and long is it

It is just under 20cm long. Having compared to the standard, it's a lot lot shorter!

Only selling to try recoup some money on a new turbo on the fabia :(

It was actually £14.50 from VW so you're paying £.50p for first class postage. Haha

Interested in this, pic dependant really and can you confrim thread size?

I'll take this if it is still available. PM me?

Part number is: 6RO 035 849

It has a 5mm thread but as stated you need to trim 3mm rubber of its base to make it fit.

I have this on my Octy and looks great and no loss of reception at all.

Fits all Skoda range and Polos,Golfs etc.

Storm chaser, what other ones look smart on the fabias? Maybe like the shark fin ones?

Haven't had much experience of other types. Just avoid all those on eBay as they are cheap c**p.

Some on here have fitted Shark Fins with good results.

so stick to finding one to buy on here then ya recon?
