Quick question - Spacers and standard vrs wheels

Hi guys quick question, and i have tried looking over the search and found nothing that really answers my question.

Is it possible to add spacers to the standard 17" wheels???

Am i right in guessing that the standard alloys are 17", pcd 5 x 100, bore of 57.1, with an offset of 43??

Can i add these to push the wheels out abit, i know people have been adding these and new wheels but dont have the money for new alloys at the moment
