No audio from radio (everything else is ok)

Columbus in 2012 Superb elegance

Had a problem this morning - was playing music via the sd card and then started to listen to radio 5 via the digital tv butdue to drop outs I switched to am.

I couldn't get any sound out of the radio section at all - neither on fm or am - no inference - nothing at all. Reverting back to cd/digital/sd card and on all the volume was ok? Tried a factory reset via the setup button but that did nothing.

My BB curve connected fine and I made a couple of calls and received some texts on the columbus as will - BT premium shown on the maxidot - wasn't sure if I'd seen this before so disconnected the fone and the radio sound didn't come back.

Be grateful for any idea's - I'm hoping after the units been switched off and the car parked all day it will work again tonight - but if not?

thanks

I have on a couple occasions had this happen to mine.

Turned off ignition, turned back on and all was fine.

Leaving the car all day and the unit doing a full power up solved it.

Will try the ignition trick if it happens again.

thanks
