More smoke than normal?

Featured Replies

Just had the ol girl serviced, i asked him to take an extra look as it seems a bit too smokey when booting it. He changed all filters and egr had a leak and had a decent build up of oil so had a new one of them too. Problem is 500miles later its still well smokey. Very noticable on a night in other cars headlights. Any ideas on why this might be would be would be great.

How was it in the winter? When did you have the remap done?

Didnt have it in winter and remap is on the to do list still!

Check your MAF. When i replaced mine at 103k miles car ran much cleaner and more efficiently.

Disconnect MAF and if car runs the same as when it's connected it's probably due a replacement.

If this doesn't work i've take it to a garage.
