Really enjoying my little vRS!

Featured Replies

Well Ive had it almost a week and, dispite a few niggles, Im not regretting it at all. Im quite enjoying getting my hands dirty again!

This is a good fourum by the way.

I had a totally 'limp' handbrake that was binding a bit, now totally cured with the handbrake spring mod for free (the dealer didnt charge me for the springs!)

I have fitted the PD 160 intake.

I had condensation in a headlamp, on inspection, one of the retaining clips was broken, so a couple of self tappers and a bag of moisture absorber later, its sealed and dry!

I have also done a full service and stripped and cleaned my EGR.

And I have discovered my engine is supposed to be wonkey!

All of the above I did/found out with the advice I got here. So thanks

Just have a problem with a broken coil spring which is getting changed tomorrow, then I'll get on with some more fun stuff. Im thinking Re-map, RARB, upgraded bulbs and some better brakes as a first stop.
