MAF Sensor

Featured Replies

if i am looking to replace my MAF sensor, where is the best place to get one?

are the £10 MAF Senor on ebay ok?

tar

No!

Get original or it will only last 2 minutes.

I think when you buy a new one from dealers you give them your old one back on exchange and get some money back.

there are lots of numbers relating to MAF senors

Mine are different to ECP senors

2 number on the sensor are

0 281 002 461

074 906 461B

do these sound correct?

Phil

The part number you have will be the skoda branded part but they are manufactured by Bosch.

So you want one of those Bosch ones. Might be worth checking which one you need.

I think one is for ASZ engines and the other for BLT but not entirely sure.

Plus worth noting that as a briskoda member you get 25% discount from them too in case you didn't already know.

yeah i knew that but i am unsure what i needed

those are the two numbers on the sensor but they dont relate to anything on ECP so i am unsure what to get?

Yes because like I said the part number you have is a Skoda part number. The part numbers ECP have are their/the manufacturers part number.

You would need to give ECP a ring and double check which is which and the one you need.

Definitely go for a Bosch one though and none of the other makes. Bosch are the ones who manufacturer the original ones for VAG.
