Superb Estate CR170 4x4

Featured Replies

About to go for one of these - anything to look for or bear in mind?

I realise that power delivery will be a lot different from my PD130 Octavia!

I have one and it's hard to find fault with it.

I get 40mpg, and that's with a heavy right foot (company car, free fuel)

What exactly are you looking for? Faults (none) ? Problems (none) ?

Get a guarantee your navigation maps will be current. I had to wait 15 months to get maps which reflected the roads on the day I got the car, the system, when I received the car, showed mapping over a year out of date.

Apart from that, it's very hard to find fault with the car. Someone may have done over 220kmh in my car (I'm not telling!)

That said, I'm due to change in 18 months time and I'd like more power and some differences before I'd get another one. Life's too short to end up driving the same car for 6 years.

The ones I'm looking at were first registered this year, so hopefully the maps will already be accurate! I'm going for the Elegance spec so should also have some nice toys as well!

Would a car registered this year have DAB installed? From one of the other posts it would seem not. :-(

Definitely not, I'm afraid.

Agreed, no DAB. I have a 170 4x4 elegance that arrived about ten days ago, and it doesn't have DAB.

I want to get the DAB antenna working to use for an add on DAB box though. I'll post if I have any luck.

I'd be interested in how you get on as well - would like to be able to add a DAB radio for 5live sports extra amongst others.

I can't wait till he starts moaning about the fuel consumption, his Mk1 often hits the 60 mpg mark and above lol
