APR Remap - The Eagle has landed!

Featured Replies

That sounds all good to me, whats the MPG like now with the map on?

Could be making a trip to see them myselves then as everyone seems to say the APR remap is the one to go for!

Im not surprised you have clutch in 6th and 3000revs at WOT.

Think about it. Peak torque is at 2800-3500 revs. So by keeping it in a high gear at those revs for a WOT pull means you subject the clutch to peak torque for a prolonged period of time which prematurely wears the clutch. If you were to keep the gears lower and revs higher when you accelerate then you limit the amount of torque applied to the clutch and increase life.

I see it so often on the forums with people saying they have clutch slip at low rpm in high gears. Ive never had a single bit of clutch slip in any of my last cars which have all been pretty heavily tuned because i dont drive my car like that. I use the gears instead. If i wanted i could easily go out and induce this on my car with no issues, but id rather not waste my money on a new clutch tbh.

Ive not tried this newer V2.1 file, but from what i gather the midrange is really strong. Look forward to trying one.
