Cable ties/zip ties around and across the joint. Or self tapping screws through the joint or replace the clips with jubilee clips or similar.

There are examples/pictures somewhere on here... I can't find them quickly/easily though.

thanks for the reply ill have to see what i can get hold of while im over here.

Take the pipe off. Put the clips in place and ensure that the bent end are located correctly. Then put in place and push the joints together. The clips then snap into place.

I put a long hose clip round mine to keep the original clip in place.

After doing a few searches with the old faithfully google I have found an idea which could work so I thought I would share......

Basically the idea is to heat shrink the joints using large diameter heat shrink and ptfe tape before hand to seal the joint...... This will then seal the joints and stop leaking and also keep the joints together and is easily reversible if needed any thoughts are welcome

I fear it'll still blow off if the clips/latches are worn. It needs proper mechanical belt and braces. It's not a minor boost leak you're trying to fix but a mechanical problem with the hose clips.

This lasted over 40,000 miles at which point the car was sold...
